4 cadets from Pencoed Squadron have just come back from a weekend exercise at Sennybridge Training Area. Pencoed Squadron was joined by over 15 cadets from Tenby, Whitland, Port Talbot and Bridgend.

The cadets were taught how to handle and shoot the L98 (the cadet version of the SA80 rifle), marksmanship principles and shot on both the 100m and Electronic Target Range.

Great Fun was had by all with the weekends objectives successfully attainted. All cadets involved are eagerly looking forward to the next Sennybridge weekend (planned for early 2008) and the prospect of learning Basic Fieldcraft Skills.
